Q. How to I activate the Referral System?

The Referral System is a way of tracking and rewarding members who encourage their friends and family to join your gym. Each member has a unique referral code and this is visible on the member's profile page, and also in the app.

To switch on the referral system, navigate to Set up > Settings > Sign up.

First, switch on the referrals system here:

If you are using Harlands or Stripe as the payment provider, you can set referrals rewards to be automated. NB that with Stripe only one free month can be issued each month, even if the member's referral code is used more than once. If Harlands is the payment provider, there can be multiple free months rewarded if a member's referral code is used several times in the same month.

To activate automatic rewards, move the toggle to the right.

When selecting automated referrals, a section just below will appear where you can either choose it to be active when a member signs up using a referral code against any membership or only with a specific referral code package.

You will be able to see any referred members logged on a member's profile page - as you can see below.
