You've probably seen a member's sleeping status already - every member is classed as 'sleeping' or 'awake' and this status is always shown on their profile.
The purpose of the sleeping status is to determine which members are using the gym regularly, and which ones are not.
A sleeping member has not entered the gym in a certain amount of time, typically 30 days or more (can be adjusted in the setup->additional settings area).
If a member who is classed as sleeping enters the gym, they will automatically be updated to 'awake' status (a note is added to the member's profile whenever they change status).
We recommend not sending out correspondence to sleeping members, as they are at a higher risk of cancelling their membership if reminded that they have one. For this reason, communication throughout the platform favours members who are awake:
